Maggie Breen was born in Wexford in 1979. She lives in Dingle, Co. Kerry. Her debut collection of poetry, Other Things I Didn’t Tell, was published in 2013.  She was long listed for the Fish Poetry Prize in 2015. She is shortlisted for the Listowel Single Poem Prize in 2016. She has been published in The Stony Thursday Book, The Stinging Fly, Crannóg and Southword, among other publications. She was guest editor for The Scaldy Detail 2013.  She has performed readings at Cáca Milis Cabaret, Kildare Readers’ Festival and Ó Bhéal, among others. She has written, presented and produced a 30-minute radio programme, as well as other radio projects, including a documentary for RTE Radio One, ‘Murt’s Eggs’, which was broadcast in September 2014. Maggie’s debut art exhibition, ‘Revealed’/’Tugtha chun solais’ was shown at Féile na Bealtaine 2014 in Dingle.
